HW 3 is now ready to go.

I just finished setting up HW 3, which goes over some of the concepts in our computation of the acceleration of skateboarder Alan in Thursday's lecture. It also refers to the data set, which I typed up and posted - so that you can double check your own lecture notes.

Office hours now until 4:15 PM

I am now at Starbuck's in the UCF Bookstore (center campus) for office hours. I will be here until 4:15 PM, as noted on our calendar. I have an easy chair.

HW 2 is ready to go

OK, now you can try out a few simple calculations in HW 2. It will be due at 10:30 AM on Thursday, as usual. It is related to today's lecture, in which we computed Alan's and Nikki's average speed rolling down the aisle.

Don't forget to bring your skateboard again on Thursday.

Yes, offensive as that may sound, it is now time to STUDY! :)

De-activate popup blockers for CPS registration

Some of you have mentioned some difficulty clicking all the way through on the CPS registration method. Make sure to turn off popup blocking before trying it again. Apparently Windows users also must be aware of this.

Matter of fact, you should ALWAYS demobilize popup blocking when working in Webcourses. Or, if you have fancy popup blocking, allow popups from webcourses.ucf.edu.

Problem solving manual, CB&S

I was at CB&S on Tuesday afternoon, and they had a pile of the optional problem solving manuals for sale, unlike the bookstore in the center of campus.

In Thursday's class, we will have some practice CPS activity, so bring your clickers!!
